The Ridge Runner by Out on a Limb Mfg.
This platform measures in at 16” X 8” and weighs right around 56 ounces. Like the Podium, The Ridge Runner is all aluminum and coated in a very durable anti-skid finish. This platform uses a cam over system with a pull strap much like the Podium. The Ridge Runner will have a few improvements that will help make the entire setup quicker, quieter and even safer.
The Ridge Runner is notched all along the circumference of the platform to increase traction and to help the overall ability. Another new feature will be the leveling system. Instead of using two individual knobs like the Podium, the Ridge Runner uses a single larger leveling knob for an easier adjustment.
NOTE: All Ridge Runner orders will come equipped with the updated longer knob as well as ONE pull strap.

Platform
Been using the ridge runner for the past 3 seasons. You will not find a platform that grips tighter to the tree. Will be the last platform you ever need. Thinking about buying another for an extra set.

Hunt the whole tree
This platform is amazing! I can literally hunt the entire tree. I used the XOP Edge last year, and liked it, although it was a little heavy, and I didn’t feel comfortable taking any weak side shots. Definitely not the case with the ridge runner… I haven’t found a shot I can’t take yet. The weight on this platform is amazing as well.

56 yrs old. 1st yr saddle hunting. Love your platform. Its so perfect, Almost bought 2 because, i have learned: when you find the perfect product, buy 2 before they on to a new version. New versions are not always better

The OOAL Ridge Runner is a top tier saddle platform, Matt is constantly leading edge with his designs and manufacturing. I ran the ridge runner 3 seasons and it was near perfect. The platform grips so aggressively and impossible for any slippage. The cam over thought setting the platform takes about 30 seconds and your done. The width of the platform teeth bracket allowed me to get into trees some really narrow trees traditional loc ons and climber would not. It's never kicked out and I've never had an issue with it being 6'1. 290# size 12 boot.

Stable
Very stable, I have used on only 1 tree so far but it was a less than ideal tree (about 12 inches in diameter and angled) and the Ridge runner still performed well. Would buy again but don't need to as running saddle and only need 1 now

Ridge Runner
This is my second season with the Ridge Runner and I’ve been throughly impressed. Coming from a tree stand it did take me a few try’s to get the method to attach it to the tree down, but after that it’s been great! The platform is rock solid with plenty of room to space your feet apart. The traction grooves allow you to have the grip needed to move for shots. I’ve also used the platform as a seat, simply strap it to a tree and use a knee pad as a cushion and you’re set for a hunt from the ground.

I'm new into saddle hunting and did nonstop research on platforms and decided to go with the ridge runner, I absolutely love it. It's much lighter then I thought it would be, and more sturdy. I've tried a few via friends and I'm pleased with the ridge runner.
